Most important to Maria was spending time with her grandchildren, hosting the holidays surrounded by family, cooking her delicious Sunday dinners with the table filled with everyone’s favorite foods and taking weekly Sunday drives. She was also an active parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church and enjoyed spending hours reading the bible every day.
Maria loved her Portuguese heritage, but one of her greatest accomplishments was becoming a citizen of the United States in 1986. They loved to travel and were blessed to have the opportunity to travel the world.
